Movies: The Warlords

The Warlords http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0913968/
A Chinese film - I think it is based on a historical tale of three blood brothers struggling in a war and the politics surrounding that war.
Stars Jet Li and a bunch of other folks whose names I can't spell or pronounce. Doesn't matter. It's a good flick.
Yes, it's Chinese, complete with dubbing and subtitles. But it's a good story, has some really great battle scenes with great special effects.

If you've seen Fearless and liked it, you'd probably like this one too. If you haven't seen Fearless, probably should see it. It's worth it. Heck, if you've not seen Hero you should check that out too. This movie is easily as good as Fearless and Hero were IMO. And yes, I realize I'm naming all Jet Li historical-emphasis movies. Another flick in the same vein, which doesn't have Jet Li, that should be seen if you haven't seen it yet: Curse of the Golden Flower. Hell, toss in a little 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' for adding a good fairy tale to the mix.

So yeah, if you like the high-quality Chinese flicks that have been coming our way the past few years this is another of 'em. If you haven't watched any, check out Fearless. Then maybe give this one a shot.
