Strangers on a Train http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0044079/
Alfred Hitchcock's awesome thriller. Have you seen Throw Momma from the Train? Nothing like it, but TMftT does reference this movie. Crisscross!
Plot: Strangers meet on a train. One is a rich psychopath, the other plays tennis. Psychopath comes up with the brilliant idea of them trading murders - Psycho kills Tennis-guy's cheating bitch of a wife, Tennis-guy kills Psycho's rich father, everyone's troubles are over because, as they are strangers, they'll have ironclad alibis when their hated is killed and the murders won't be connected and nobody can figure out what the motive was. Except Tennis-guy isn't a psychopath so he didn't think the psycho was serious, well, that is, until it was too late.
No ninjas in this film, doesn't need 'em.
Some awesome cinematography in this one - especially the reflection in the glasses in one scene. And Hitchcock is the first director I've ever seen make a tennis match suspenseful enough to put you on the edge of the seat. Heck he even made a merry-go-round suspenseful. Plus Hitch's daughter has a role in the film. She kinda looks like Velma from Scooby-Doo. The cartoon Velma - not the hot one in the live action movie.
Another great of Hitch's films - ranks with the best of 'em. Even without ninjas.
